Looking to use up my "rewards" before end of month. Since Tablets aren't going to be discounted any time soon, we like to "cash out" using the FAR for McAfee Total Protection and maybe the Kaspersky. My question is how SHOULD this work with the $11.99 Instant Savings and the 15% in the bag. Does one preclude the other or should I expect both? Not looking to bend the rules but just trying to determine what to expect (demand) in the store since my reading of the "rules" may not be the same as Staples. Thanks.........

Instant savings and 15% should both apply despite the confusing terms.

I just got back from staples, and didn't try the following 15% on the Paperwhite but doubt but would gave worked. Instead it seems like competitor coupons are the way to go if you gave discounts on those excluded from the staples coupons.... Ymmv on, stores policy for competitor coupons

No, it is not pure chance. Very frequently, coupon exclusions are not enforced at the register. Just a matter if the cashier reads the terms before taking the coupon.

No usually they don't care, the coupon just won't deduct in some cases where they've set up the exclusions in their system

I have heard many people said they can use coupon or promotion at Office Depot but I don't know why.
