In stock for hours, probably a good sign the rush is over. Amazon keeps going in and out of stock for literally seconds. Can't get to complete the order before it's gone again.

I would like to pick up one of these for my son's birthday, but I hate paying tax and shipping. Amazon is currently out of stock. Hmm...

I have received many of these not crushed and turned around shipped them out in same box with bubble rap just like amazon ships it.

Mr Ritz probably thought you were putting a label on the Minecraft retail box. I didn't read carefully and I assumed the same thing, hah.

I'll probably offend a collector, but we tore into our yesterday and put it together (we actually damaged the packaging and everything. Sorry, but toys meant to be played with. My 10 yo loves it, and is a Minecraft fanatic.

ETA: Kind of a pain to put together as well, and I think they could have done it better.

In the end you are only paying for the box, because this set is so simple you can recreate it with the millions of pieces everyone already has.

do you take the slip out where its says what you paid for it?

I was going to try selling the other one I'm getting tomorrow from Toys R Us to another parent for what I paid for it, so they don't have to get raped by some reseller but even at 55 bucks (after tax and shipping from TRU) I don't think I'll be able to sell it... Might as well just return it...
