I got in on the $90 B&N Ebay deal. The tablet has worked extremely well. I gave it to my 7-year-old son for Christmas. It has hardly left his hands since then. Soon, we will need to implement some time constraints. He is locked in on that thing a lot, and loves it.
The process to make a bootable SD card was super easy. The tablet is quite stable. The tablet looks brand new to me. The only thing I have had trouble with, is re-sizing the partition on which you would store apps. I did not know you could/should resize that, and passed it over to my son. Since then, I read about using Mini Tool Partition Wizard to re-size the partition. We have in fact, run into size limits. So, last night I pulled the card and tried the instructions for removing and re-creating the partition. It did not work. After selecting 1 of the 2 partitions to delete, then deleting, then clicking apply, a message came up stating that it worked...but, it didn't. The partition is still there. I have tried various delete, re-size operations for both of the partitions mentioned in the instructions, but Mini Tool just cannot seem to make it happen, despite saying it was successful. I am thinking at this point will try it on another PC. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would be grateful. ** I do notice that another window flashes by really quickly before the success message comes up. It is not up long enough for me to see what it is. It could just be a progress screen or something and since it can't do anything with the partition, it is gone immediately after coming up. It might also be an error message. I did not look to see if the tool creates a logfile. That would be helpful. I will turn to that if using a different PC doesn't help. Even with the partition issues (which nobody else seems to have), the tablet was a steal at $90. I would say that if you can't wait for $90 to come back around again, you should buy this one. It is worth $100. |

I love the NT I bought for 90 bucks. It runs fast, only ran into minimal issues with the stock software sometimes rebooting on start-up even with my card installed. All it takes is a quick reboot and I'm back in CM10. Also I haven't been able to add my own personal videos to it, it's a process to get videos onto the card. I tried to import using dropbox but it never works. Otherwise, Hulu, Netflix, and most apps work fine.

I am using the Patriot card mentioned above... |

>>If your NT is like mine, it would only boot from SD from power-off state and upon insertion of a powered-USB cable" I also have to go looking for a Sandisk card since the Patriot 8GB card did not work for me. |
