Keep your eyes peeled on the Best Buy Open Items pages. I picked up my 65VT50 for under 1800 with free delivery. (Wife's credit card was giving 5% cash back at Best buy or it would have been about 1900.)

It was in perfect shape with all accessories. Some guy thought it looked too big in his room so returned it.

On top of that I just got a $45 rewards zone certificate since for buying the TV so it is really in the high 1700's.

Good for you, I have seen multiple OB 65VT50s, Havent been able to convince them to go lower than $2400.

I got the 65ST50 which has superb PQ. The VT must be off the charts!

Buying from a non-authorized dealer, especially for a big ticket item, is not a transaction I would recommend.

65vt50 is unheard of .. Id love to see a receipt

To be honest...picture quality is great but my eyes must not be that good. I can't really see the difference between the ST, GT and VT. It is true I didn't have them all in my house to do side by side comparisons and I do know stores are bad places to compare.

I will just have to trust the experts.

I was really looking for an ST when the VT fell in my lap.

I need to check the EPP pricing at Panasonic. Camel (3x's) still shows Amazon price at $3500.

I'm looking forward to the 2013 Viera models.

If I were going to get a 2012 model, it would certainly be the 65ST50. After calibration, it's just about as good as the VT50, for $1000-1500 less.
