Anyone have success on Windows? I can create the ad-hoc, iPhone connects, and I can ping the iPhone. The trouble I'm having, though, is that the iPhone doesn't seem to want to fallback to LTE when connected to the ad-hoc (if you watch videos, even when connected to the ad-hoc, the iPhone shows LTE in the status bar instead of WiFi bars).

I have At&T and I'm sure they'll find out somehow so I'll back off. I haven't been tethering since my warning last year and a month ago they send me a message saying my speed would be throttle if I were to go over 3 gig again.

Anyone remember Quasidisk? I still have it but haven't used it much because 1) trust me, you'll get tired of doing all the steps to connect the ad hoc connection 2) you have to keep the app on stay on that screen and make sure it doesn't sleep 3) after unlocking my AT&T iPhone and switching to T-mo prepaid, for some reason, there's a native option to tether in settings. |

The instructions state that the iPhone must not be put to sleep (screen must always be on) and the app must be in the foreground. You'll probably want to have the iPhone charging from your laptop while you surf.

Not that I've heard. The Dev Team doesn't seem to have a solution although a modding team states that they have found a solution and will be releasing the first iPhone 5 jailbreak next week (31st/1st). Might be BS. |
