Just saw this Groupon and tried it out to see if it worked on renewals, and it does. The Groupon is just a redemption code that can be applied to ANY Godaddy.com account. It is in-store credit so I am pretty sure it can be applied to anything.

Don't forget to use cashback sites for Groupon and GoDaddy!
1) Buy the Groupon and open it
2) Login into your Godaddy account
3) Go to and submit info at: http://www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx
4) Credit is in account and spend and use coupons like normal
Multiple vouchers can be added to 1 godaddy account.
[QUOTE=MotorolaRazrHD;56410462]Anyone want to buy more then 1?
1. You only need ONE groupon account and make a purchase for each city (I bought eight $70 coupons and applied to my single GoDaddy account)
2. Once you receive the GoDaddy coupon, you can enter it here (www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx)
3. Make sure to log into your favorite cashback site FIRST, then make the GROUPON purchase; same method applies before making any GoDaddy purchases
As others stated in the thread, use these codes ASAP.
if you want more than the listed links, try using this format to guess a city (replace NAMEACITYHERE with a city name of your choice.
It seems to have worked with:
Useful promotion code(s): Add any that you feel are the best deals
LKSRTLMENT - 50% off new product purchases
HOST4HALF - 50% off new hosting - haven't tested renewed hosting.
GoDaddy not only supported SOPA but lied multiple times and pretended to play both sides. It is also an internet only company and all of it's customer base are exactly the people the bill would have hurt. What kind of company supp orts legislation to hurt it's customers and then lies to it's customers about it by saying one thing and doing another behind their backs?!
There are many warnings about godaddy. Here is one I found http://urgentwarnings.blogspot.com/ They actually closed down a commercial website
Be sure and boycott all these companies if your going to boycott Godaddy https://docs.google.com/document/...edit?pli=1
Several previous warnings about godaddy keep getting censored from here.
]Have you guys forgotten that GoDaddy fought against your internet rights and pressured Congress to censor the Internet? This not only affects you on slickdeals, but any website you visit as well. Just think twice and what you value if you're going to support this anti-consumer company. Just don't complain in a few years your internet freedoms are no longer there and are regulated.
