Just saw this Groupon and tried it out to see if it worked on renewals, and it does. The Groupon is just a redemption code that can be applied to ANY Godaddy.com account. It is in-store credit so I am pretty sure it can be applied to anything.

GoDaddy.com Online Deal [groupon.com]

Choose Between Two Options
  • $10 for $30 worth of website-building products
  • $25 for $70 worth of website-building products

Redeem at (copy/paste after logging into Godaddy): http://www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx

It CAN be used on renewals. AND the credit is applied to your account and CAN be used over many transactions.

STACK with 29% off coupon: gdx1236g

Or 44% off domain renewal codes:
GDBBREN8
GDBBA547
gd50bbpd5

Expires Feb 27, 2013

Limit 1 per person. Limit 1 per visit. Valid only for option purchased. Valid online only. Online registration required. Must be 18 or older. Gift cards, Paypal, Alipay and CCavenue may not be used to redeem offer. Goods sold by GoDaddy.com. Paid value will be applied to first purchase. Must be an existing GoDaddy.com customer or create a new customer account to redeem.

* transfer in discount coupon code " "CJCFW99D" (each domain will cost $1.17) works only for the FIRST 3 domains

-mvirtualoffice
===================================

MUST cut and paste the link:

http://www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx

update: the link will not work if you're out of the USA (maybe canada also) - it will jump to Godaddy's home page.
you will need to use a VPN/PROXY service in order to get this page right.

Mod Note: DO NOT DELETE OTHER MEMBERS' WIKI INFORMATION !!! thanks -BostonGirl

Don't forget to use cashback sites for Groupon and GoDaddy!

1) Buy the Groupon and open it
2) Login into your Godaddy account
3) Go to and submit info at: http://www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx
4) Credit is in account and spend and use coupons like normal

Multiple vouchers can be added to 1 godaddy account.
[QUOTE=MotorolaRazrHD;56410462]Anyone want to buy more then 1?

====================================================================================
1. You only need ONE groupon account and make a purchase for each city (I bought eight $70 coupons and applied to my single GoDaddy account)

2. Once you receive the GoDaddy coupon, you can enter it here (www.godaddy.com/redeem/groupon.aspx)

3. Make sure to log into your favorite cashback site FIRST, then make the GROUPON purchase; same method applies before making any GoDaddy purchases

As others stated in the thread, use these codes ASAP.
====================================================================================
if you want more than the listed links, try using this format to guess a city (replace NAMEACITYHERE with a city name of your choice.

It seems to have worked with:

groupon.com/deals/go-daddy-com-december-new-york
groupon.com/deals/go-daddy-com-december-charlotte
groupon.com/deals/go-daddy-com-december-orlando
groupon.com/deals/go-daddy-com-san-francisco

GoDaddy not only supported SOPA but lied multiple times and pretended to play both sides. It is also an internet only company and all of it's customer base are exactly the people the bill would have hurt. What kind of company supp orts legislation to hurt it's customers and then lies to it's customers about it by saying one thing and doing another behind their backs?!

There are many warnings about godaddy. Here is one I found http://urgentwarnings.blogspot.com/ They actually closed down a commercial website

Be sure and boycott all these companies if your going to boycott Godaddy https://docs.google.com/document/...edit?pli=1

Several previous warnings about godaddy keep getting censored from here.

]Have you guys forgotten that GoDaddy fought against your internet rights and pressured Congress to censor the Internet? This not only affects you on slickdeals, but any website you visit as well. Just think twice and what you value if you're going to support this anti-consumer company. Just don't complain in a few years your internet freedoms are no longer there and are regulated.

And this is where your money goes:

GoDaddy CEO Bob Parsons boasts killing another elephant, leopard on vacation video [geek.com]

The video just gets worse and worse as it cuts to a shot of villagers in Zimbabwe wearing GoDaddy baseball hats and tearing apart the dead elephant to get its meat while AC/DC’s “Hells Bells” plays in the background. No, we’re not making this up.

So what exactly is this? If we get it, will it be used to save $70 off of a one time purchase? Or do we redeem a voucher code and $70 gets credited to our account so that we can use it anytime in the future whenever we want?

Note: and what's that Principal and Supplemental mean in that screenshot?

yes this works on renewals

you're paying for credit (think amazon gift certificate as far as functionality)

with the coupon codes in the other threads, i was able to buy the $10 for $30 and for only $15 i bought 4 years of renewals at $8.67

4 years of 1 domain. I actually had to do 2 transactions because godaddy only let me do 1,2, 3 or 5 years. So i did 3, then another 1, for 4 total, and it cost me the $10 voucher and then $4.68 cash extra
