How to Qualify for This Offer:

Purchase at least one qualifying app offered in the Amazon.com Appstore for Android in the webstore or on an Android device. The apps that qualify are apps for Android offered in the Amazon.com Appstore for Android that display the offer message on their webstore product information pages. Qualifying apps will not display promotional messaging on their Android on-device product information pages.
After completing your purchase, you will receive an e-mail indicating that a $1 credit for Amazon MP3 music downloads has been applied to your account automatically. The e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem your credit.
Promotional offer limited to one promotional credit per customer.

Purchase a qualifying app offered in Amazon's Appstore for Android on the web, Android device, or Kindle Fire. The items that qualify are apps in Amazon's Appstore for Android that display the offer message on their web store product information pages. No promotional details will be displayed on the product information pages for these qualifying apps in the mobile or tablet Appstore for Android.

After you complete your purchase, you will receive an e-mail indicating that a $1 credit for Amazon MP3 music has been applied to your account automatically. The e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem your credit.

After you receive your email, visit the Amazon MP3 Store and select "Buy MP3" or "Buy Album" for the items you choose. Your purchase will be applied against the $1 credit automatically. Your credit card will not be charged for Amazon MP3 until your credit has been used or expires.

I just downloaded the Free Amazon App of the Day:

And about a minute later, received a e-mail that I was given a $1 promotional MP3 credit:

Today Amazon's free app of the day carries a $1 free promotional credit. I didn't even download the app, I was just on the website and checked it out and "purchased" the free app that is now available for download in the amazon app store. I got two emails, 1 stating that I got my app and another that said I got a promotional credit for the order I just purchased. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me, but there are always some negative Nancies trolling...

I didn't even know this deal existed till all of a sudden, I got a e-mail from Amazon stating that I have $1 in MP3 credit for purchasing a qualifying app
