Question: I see it features "2.5” SATA 6 Gb/s " does it means it work with SATA II (3 GB/S) ? |

If you have a sata3 motherboard, consider purchasing two of the exact same ssd drive and install them in raid0. Fully saturating your hard drive bandwidth is wonderful, and ssd drives have ultra low failure rates.

I have been comparing the prices of 240gb SSD and they have been around $110-140 when its on sale for about 9 months now.
There have not been any drop at all on SSD. My RIG:

To all member who cares about this SSD performance...
I am complete noob on SSD, and i was doing research this morning. I came to an understanding this SSD use Sandforce controller and it used to be problematic with TRIM. But with the latest firmware R211, TRIM is no longer an issue. Full Review [tweaktown.com] |

SSD's are really still only cost-effective as boot drives, and most, aside from gamers, don't need one as big as this. If you do, then remember, there are 1TB SSDs already if money is no object.

I just need to get a SSD for my VMware machine. It will make things fast. That is only reason I need to get a 512gb.
