It only took two years? (I don't know when this was released but it feels like it was two years ago). And per the OP, it's more than $160 after taxes and shipping for the majority of us who don't have MicroCenter.

Just purchased this board to go with the next sandy bridge deal since this one got cancelled.

Is anyone who ordered this for shipping and didn't get a cancellation notice still waiting for it to ship? My order status is "routed" whatever that means. I'd like to go ahead and order a mobo but am having doubts I'm actually going to get this.

It took me a while to figure out that nobody can beat MC prices on CPU. How can they sell much cheaper then their competitors? I still kick myself for not getting onto their $100 deal on this one. I thought they will sell again that price - they might,who knows?

I've been trying for over 2 hours now to get anyone over chat or phone to just get the current status of my order. Order page still shows routed and the temp charge fell off my CC but no actual transaction shows up. I'm starting to get rather irritated. Is this kind of lack of info and accessibility normal when dealing with MC?

There could be still hope - for some cc companies the temp charge drop off and a day or two later charge posts,I have seen that happen on discover.

Well I finally did get through to a CS who said it looks like it will ship out today. Normally I wouldn't be so antsy but today is the last day for a rebate on the mobo I'm looking to get and I don't feel comfortable pulling the trigger on that without confirmation the CPU is on its way.
