I was hoping for a $350 price this Holiday season but looks like that's not happening. I've never seen one posted on local Craig's List. Seems iPhone owners on Virgin Mobile are happy with their decision.

I won't TD, and honestly didn't read this thread, but I cannot see why anyone would spend this change when the S2 was like 230 bucks and the 3D was 150 (both of these were on sale multiple times). I scored the one V for 50 bucks and it's been really good (to where I don't think I'd even want to spend 150 on the 3D).

before you fork over $400 for a phone on VM make sure the service in your area is acceptable, around here no way would I pay more than the $35/month plus cheap phone that I have now...

yes... all iphone 4s can be unlock and work with any sims card globally.. i did this on my verizon iphone 4s and was able to use it in china... so this is a really sweet deal.

as for android.. i used to be a big fan of android. I owned almost every htc and samsung whenever they come out. my current android is still a Galaxy note 2 and i gotta say i might have to pick iphone 5 over that.. i starting to hate how android freeze up when i need to make phone call and UI is kinda annoying for simple task. and no, none of my android are rooted and loaded with too many apps. its just annoying. I just like it because of google map and voice quality is much more clear that iphone.

Be careful this phone is locked to Virgin Mobile and there is no way currently to unlock it like your verizon phone.

hmm i might get one and try it, worse case if it really lock up i can return it easily back to target without any restocking fee, target is pretty chill at returning electronic. but thanks for the heads up

Ok - this is something that I been wondering for a while now.
I see people selling iPhone 4 verzion/sprint versions for around $150, yet the att versions of iPhone 4 are in the $200+ mark. Do these verzion and sprint iPhones have sim-slots just to confirm? And if so - are they infact factory unlock capable with those cheap factory unlock services that they are offering on ebay for around $2? Sorry if Im asking something that may have been answered, but I just want to get a clear answer on this.


NVM - seems like some one mentioned above me that virgin mobile iPhones are not unlockable, only the verzion and sprint ones are.

All iPhone 4s can be unlocked, but Virgin Mobile is VERY restrictive on unlocking these phones. From personal experience, non-VM account holders should not even try. I believe the only way to unlock the phone is with a Gevey SIM.

Don't know if this is true, but the following link says even it is unlocked, it is still not able to be used with ATT or T-Mobile, assuming VM is same as Sprint.

Yea you could do that but Gevey SIM is another $40 and may or may not work, has anyone proven to get Virgin to unlock it and say use on AT&T or straight talk, do you know?

I wouldn't complain either I don't know how my area would be with VM, but buying an iphone 4S for $400 and a $30 dollar plan totally beats AT&T in pricing wise being cheapest $60 a month with 200 mb minutes 450 talk minutes and no texting yet VM offers unlimited texting and web and 300 talk minutes (and with 3rd party softwares 300 minutes is more than enough). I don't even see how AT&T can have those outrages prices when VM has a pretty good plan where it will save you a ton of money in the long run compare to AT&T and other phone carriers that carry the Iphone.

Hrm, ive owned 3 android phones and i haven't had that experience. I actually find ios tedious and longer to do simple tasks. I think the only advantage iphone has is for a completly new users that never used a smartphone it is easier. But anyone past that point , i find android more powerful and just as easy.
