What does the ceiling brace look like on these? I've got a Hampton Bay fan with a brace that is narrow (about 2" wide) that doesn't make enough contact with the ceiling. When the A/C turns on in the attic above, the entire fan wobbles like crazy. I don't have a problem with Hunter fans that have a full circular brace.

When I add the Alida to my cart it comes up as full price. :/

which is a good one for a bedroom

got the 56" nickel fan w/ remote.. I was waiting for a good price on these.. to bad my paypal homedepot discount expired.. oh well.

depends on size of room between 42 and 52 normally... 56 is for rather large rooms..

Yes. Way too big. You should shoot for something more along the lines of a 42".

The listings for the fans include links to the PDF user and install manuals. That should give you the info needed.
