good price, I paid more about 6 months ago for the Model # SW1071. I agree with other comment that it is easy to follow directions to install except for cramming all the wires for the remote into the box. I have not used it enough to comment on reliability. Mine is in a 12 x 16 bedroom and the settings are fine for the room, whether, high, medium, or low.

If you do not already have a preexisting outlet box designed for the weight of a fan, you need to know a bit more about what you are doing.....

I'm going to second this concern. We had four Hampton Bay fans installed in the place we bought, and we have since removed all four. Two of them had a horrendous buzzing noise and one just flat out died (I checked the wiring, and that was perfectly fine). I wouldn't buy these for free. Reputable and energy efficient ceiling fans can be expensive--they can easily run hundreds of dollars--but a sizable chunk of that can be made back over working life of the fan because the motors are just so much more energy efficient. Can't say I know anything about Hunter personally.
