Awesome receiver, got it for 156 last week, everything working, great value for the money, love the Pandora and the rest apps, one of the apps I think is Tunner app let me listen other countries radio stations, over all pretty happy with my purchase.

I have been watching the Onkyo deals roll by and should have pulled the trigger several times but, finally with the deals seemingly slowing down, I pulled the trigger. $142 is the lowest yet and to be honest I suspect that the inventory is dropping on all of these deals. Do not know how long this price will hold so I guess I just needed to go ahead and get it done. |

Dang, this is awfully attractive price-wise, but will the quality be enough to drive my Polk Monitor 60's as fronts, M40 rears, CS2 center, and a PSW505 sub with good sound (i.e. is it a good match quality-wise)?

I did a bit of googling and apparrently this receiver is indeed a good match for my Polk setup
. Thanks again OP, order in-place and receiver incoming  . It ought to be quite a nice upgrade from my old HTIB Onkyo receiver I've been muddling along with for years now.

Polk Audio Monitor CS2 Polk Audio Monitor 70 x 2 Polk Audio Monitor 30 x 2 BIC F12 Sub It sounds great. Even though it's only rated to 85w I get a lot of midbass out of the 70's and CS2. I do however plan on upgrading the receiver before long but it has served me well for the two years I've had it. |
