Sorry to hear that. At this pricing, I'd say unlikely for awhile, at $190-200ish as a ShopOnkyo refurb, every month or so.

3rd party USB WiFi adapters should work with the receiver but I haven't been able to test it out yet myself. I ordered the TP-Link TL-WN722N 150Mbps High Gain Wireless USB Adapter [amazon.com] for about $18 off Amazon based on a few reviews mentioning using it with Onkyo receivers. The official Onkyo UWF-1 Wireless LAN adaptor looks really nice and compact but it doesn't have the most favorable reviews on Amazon (lots of 1 stars) and was $12 more than the TP-Link.

My receiver came in today...so far, it really seems like a steal for $127. I didn't even know that it included Audyssey 2EQ. I've been curious how it compares to the Harman Kardon EzSet/EQ setup software. I've read that Audyssey's is really good but the 2EQ is their most basic version. I wasn't sure if I needed to update the firmware but I did anyway...took about 5 minutes total when I hooked it up through ethernet. The remote seems to be decent enough for a basic universal remote. I'm very happy with this purchase so far. Thanks again, OP!

Zone 2 you need a separate amp. You should not use zone 2 unless you have another room you want sound in with an amp already in place.
You have a BOSE system so it will not sound good and will be hard to get working. My advice is to sell it and buy better speakers!

Anyone set up a wireless network with this receiver yet? I've gone through the menu, the manual, and the network music guide and I can't find anything about setting up the wireless network. The basic settings for wired network are right there in the on screen menu, but nothing for wireless! Does that just mean it's not recognizing my USB network adapter or is something else going on??

Did you get yours working? Any tips on setting up the wireless network, as I don't see where to select SSID and network encryption settings?

Needs to be either the Official Onkyo one or one with the chipset listed a few posts back. Otherwise you won't see the wireless menu.

You sure? I looked back 10 pages! For sure nothing just a few posts back. I only found one reference to 3rd party adapters, and that was already in response to another of my questions. It specified one adapter that was reported to work from others in Amazon review, but no mention of specific chipsets.
