Guys, Is anyone facing this issue ? after updating the firmware, when I play the song from ipad, the first song plays fine, but when I change to any other song from ipad using Onkyo App the song doesn't move to the second song, but the first song stops playing ...
I have had some strange issues with the iphone app. It seems not to be so good with streaming music.
If anyone is having an issue with flickering on bluray players just disable "deep color". I went through 3 players before figuring this out.
Anyone set up a wireless network with this receiver yet? I've gone through the menu, the manual, and the network music guide and I can't find anything about setting up the wireless network. The basic settings for wired network are right there in the on screen menu, but nothing for wireless! Does that just mean it's not recognizing my USB network adapter or is something else going on??
Did you get yours working? Any tips on setting up the wireless network, as I don't see where to select SSID and network encryption settings?
Yes, got it working last night with the TP-Link TL-WN722N but it was slightly more than plug & play in that I had to reboot to get it to take the settings. So once you plug in the adapter you'll need to select "USB" on the receiver, next to "Net". It will locate the device and should give you a choice to either manually set it up or automatically set it up, I chose manual. Find your WiFi router from the list, enter your WEP password (I had to do this step twice after a reboot). From what I understand, the receiver might have issues with WPA/WPA2 but I didn't run into any issues (a user by the name of MBH on Amazon says to set it up as WPA2-Personal/TKIP instead of WPA2-AES, if you're using WPA2). I think there might be another step afterwards that I did - I don't have the receiver in front of me right now to confirm but make sure you cycle through all of the steps on this screen - five total, I think. Also, I should point out I was using the receiver's front screen to cycle through the menu as the current TV I have it hooked up to doesn't have HDMI, so no on-screen menus for me.
The first time I set it up then went to "Net" to try the internet radio, it didn't work properly. It kept saying it couldn't establish a connection and "Net" was flashing on the receiver's screen. That's when I rebooted the Onkyo and tried the USB steps again. Everything worked fine after that and I was able to add my Spotify, Pandora and last.fm accounts (although last.fm seemed a bit buggy last night and couldn't load my radio stations...might have to mess around with that some more). Also, I didn't do anything with the Network menu on the receiver nor did I have to change any settings on my router. Just use the USB button on the receiver to do everything and it should work fine. I will say using the receiver to enter usernames/passwords is a bit annoying but you should only have to do that once.
Hopefully this helps out a bit. I can confirm the steps later, if needed.

Reason: added adapter name for those who didn't see my original post
Thats my next plan, just wanted to see if anyone that recently got his was having any issues. Only happening on the BR input not on my cable box.
I had some issues with my BluRay player cutting in and out. Disable "Deep Color" on the blu ray and see if that fixes it. Deep color isn't even something that 99% of TV's or movies support anyway so there is no benefit of having this enabled.
My bluray is having the issue of losing signal in the middle of watching a movie, however the other inputs do not. Kinda frustrating
Mine was working fine for the first month... now the audio portion of the HDMI passthrough keeps failing. I have to unplug the receiver and plug it back in just to get audio working again from the satellite box to the TV. Nothing else seems to work. looks like I might have to feed the TV directly from the satellite box and only use the receiver for blu-rays.
