Both are really good quality cases, but I've never quite understood the Lian Li hype. Some people seem to think everything they make is gold... it reminds me of Apple fans talking about iPhones, to a lesser extent.

If I had to buy one, I'd buy the Lian Li because I hate when there are holes on the left side of the case. As far as the features and internal configuration, they're very similar. That brushed look on the Lian Li is nice.

I've build dozens of machines. I'm sitting at my desk with a Lian Li cased machine on each side of me, enough said. They look good and they are engineered well....even though some are not "typical"...mine have the PSUs in the lower front, for example. I'm getting ready to build a new daily driver and I have several Antec cases on hand but dont feel like using them....

i really like working with lian li stuff, it just feels good... like working with snap on tools instead of harbor freight.

but my go to cases are either antec or silverstone.

I have a mid-tower Lian-Li that I've been using for years, absolutely love it, but it wasn't designed with major cooling in mind (small fans). That's the same concern I have with this one. It looks beautiful (as all LL's do), but imo the fan layout of the Arc Mini is just a tad more convincing .

Even though I value function over form, the looks are so plain and sober I think I have to pass. Still, the price is amazing for such a high-quality case, according to those reviews.

ah ok so price not being the factor than you made the right choice. The Arc Mini does seem to have a lot more cooling capabilities, if that's your concern. I actually had to cut 2 x 80mm holes on the top of my mid tower LL case when I decided to OC and water cool.
