I'm with you. I'm planning on getting this TV in a couple months and it should dip down in price even more.

Got this for 1899 early november and i can tell you this tv rocks. PQ is really nice for movies and the only thing i could put on it is that on white backgrounds you hear a buzz and thats it.

That's assuming there is any stock left. The 60ST50 is sold out most places and word on the interwebs is that Panasonic is no longer manufacturing the TV. Can't even buy it from Panasonic website.

I am eyeing this TV too. How good is the glare filter on this one? in case you had a chance to compare - Is the reflection better than the Panny U/T50 ??

I saw the guy's code for SAVE300 and tried it on other TVs with no luck. Figured there was a certain price limit for the code to work. Tried SAVE200 instead and voila! A slickdeal for all to enjoy.

If you sign up for a Pauls tv account no need to buy anything, but frequently they send out emails with the coupon codes. I bought a tv from them before and had a very positive experience. They even gave me a $100 bucks back when I notified them about a lower price within 30 days.

I just returned the 50ST50, all their models make a terrible buzzing noise on a lower volume, or if you will be using it as a monitor. FYI.

I love my 60gt50, there is a very very slight buzz on mine only when the screen is mostly white. Since we never watch tv without volume its not an issue for me

This is a great example of the hasty generalization fallacy, and has been proven to be incorrect.

While all plasma's buzz, buzzing varies panel to panel within the same model. A friend had a GT50 that had a loud buzz from ~9ft, exchanged it for another GT50 that had an inaudible buzz at 3ft+. The most common issue for 2012 Panasonics is not buzzing, but IR. Samsung's most common issue for 2012 is, however, buzzing. This is based on hundreds of reviews, user comments, and testing done by various online sites such as CNET, flatpanelsHD, etc.
