I canceled my order that was charged because of the bad reviews about the mini usb port . i rather not take that risk for $25..

Omg, you guys are trippin. Yes Rosewill makes lower quality parts, but come on dont' tell me they haven't really upped their QC over the years. 2 years ago I wouldn't even sneeze at anything Rosewill. Anyway, Rosewill will replace your board if it's defective. I have the Red Cherry board and it is hands down the best keyboard ever. Gaming & typing, it's great for both. Some however like tactile keys, so should opt for brown, which I like but not as good as Red imo. I got 3 orders so i'll be very happy with mine, as for those that looked the other way you lost out on an AWESOME experience. We all use our keyboards many hours a day, this keyboard just makes typing so effortless.

Actually, quality has decreased over the years. Their last decent batch was a few months ago that was still made by Costar (although a lower quality costar board than Filco). At least with the batches from a few months ago, at least costar attempted to temporarily fix the notorious USB failure by adding some superglue to it. Now these latest batch of the RK9000 is made by "Nashville". Basically they silently switched OEMs, and I opened up the board to verify that indeed PCB is a lower quality. There is no more superglue at the USB port, so failure rate might even be higher than before.

At $100, these are definitely not worth it anymore. But at $25, these are worth more than their weight in switches alone. Single switches are typically $.065 - $1.50 each. I didn't get a chance to jump on this, but if I did, I would have bought it to harvest switches. and chuck the rest.

Dang, missed out. I'm typing on one right now, and would love to have had another to permanently keep in my LAN bag (already have extra mouse, pad, cables, etc.).
