Yes it's sad to see all the hipsters sporting beats but hey, I find it kind of funny to see them walking around with those giant red beats LOL. I think we all have been had by companies trying to hype up their products and consumers praising their products.... But it is an upgrade from what we were used to... ( Ipod headphones) So maybe that is why they think it's so good? Who knows. Who cares, let them have their cake!!

i dont own beatz either and i couldnt agree more i always see these audiophile snobs go to extremes on sound quality, i mean really are you going to be going in the music business to take it that seriously because i really do hope so? Same thing goes for camera snobs going to extreme lengths for subtleties i just think going too far on these hobbies is seriously expensive and wasteful, unless these guys talking hardcore are in the 1%.

better is relative for this because if it wasnt why do these sell like crazy? The studios were at a stock of 1000 when i saw this thread then in like 1 hr later it is all gone at 4am est time. The point im making is that you expect everyone to put as much emphasis on sound technicalities and what the spec sheets say like you may do, but there are many who dont or could care less about missing out on something better that could be better.

Better is not relative when it comes to these types of products. Beats are bad headphones for the price. They sound no better than some $40-45 headphons.

It sells fast just like McDonalds.

It has nothing to do with spec sheets, it has to do with real world sound quality.

If you want to be part of the mass consumers, go ahead and buy it and waste your money instead of actually taking the time to learn about decent headphones.

Monster hasn't spend decades doing R&D on audio, other companies have. Man other companies such as Sennheiser, Shure, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamics, Grado, etc. all they do is make audio products for decades. Monster makes $100 HDMI cables.

Yeah, I added the Solo to the cart and it went fine. Didn't order of course, wanted to see if the price was legit.

They sell out quick. I expect to see more price drops in the next week.
