You'll be able to tell within ~2 rounds with the windowed mags without much practice.

I have both, and I know full well that the windowed feature is pretty much pointless. You can tell loadout easily by weight, they cost more, and the window is just another item to fog up or get weak. To me the window would be more useful if it was located up front so you could see the bullet, but it's not so you can't.

I know all this, and yet I still prefer the windowed ones. Sometimes you gotta admit you like something because it's cool, not because it makes sense.

In reality I use window/non-window, and different colors to help keep my different mags (and ammo in them) straight. Some I keep loaded with the best ammo. Some I know are my range/abuse mags, etc. And the mags I have in storage are just the plain black mags without windows. No sense in spending more for ones I'll (hopefully) never really use.

It's only been 17 days since my order...but it feels like YEARSSSS ....sigh

It's been 19 days since my order and it feels like DECADESSSSS!!

I ordered 30 at midnight of Dec 23. Looks like most window mags are being shipped. And as for nonwindow g2, they are working on dec 22 orders

I received an email invoice for 10 each Earth Gen 2 window pmags ordered 12/28. Hope they are shipping soon. Total cost with shipping and tax was $174.12.

Still have 10 more I'm waiting on.

I ordered on 12/29 as well. It was a pending charge on my credit card but then it disappeared? Does that mean my order was cancelled or are did they just not charge me yet?

it meant they tested your card and then you will be charged once they ship.

But going back to the site and checking my account still shows the order is pending.
So... at least not cancelled... yet
