Because they are completely sold out everywhere. Even with the pre-panic, 10 mags for 100 bucks is a very good deal. And getting it backordered, you lock in that cheap price. I seriously doubt you can find that same price anywhere once the next year rolls around. Price hike on those mags once every other stores gets their stocks replenished is a given.
Will a ban on high capacity magazines pass? Who knows. Given the fact that few states already have limit on the capacity like California and New York....... its highly likely.
I rather take my chances on here. I have a better chance of getting them here than my local stores which are already wiped clean.
I agree but I have my doubts anything will pass. Republicans control the House and Conservatives are already looking to get rid of a compromising Boehner. The speaker gets to decide what bills get brought forth. Republicans could very easily say no and the bill is doa. That said there's absolutely no reason other than finances why people shouldn't be buying just in case. We are all aware of last time when there was a high cap ban and how used high cap mags went through the roof in price.
I agree. I don't know much about guns, but I know that NJ has one of, if not most strictest gun laws. I was just looking to flip them and use the money to pay for college stuff, but the risk is too high.
I doubt they would ship 30 round mags to a NJ address anyway.
It's right there on the page:
High Capacity Magazine Restrictions: High capacity magazines are not legal in all areas of the U.S. Please be aware of your local laws before ordering. No sales of 30rd magazines to NY, MA, CA, MD, NJ, HI. See our company policies for more information. Its up to the customer to comply with all laws regarding these items.
Good deal on these mags, I got the 10 pack of the windowed magpuls from them back in early December and I also got my Colt AR from them. I've been really happy with their service.
I emailed them a week ago to ask what the ETA would be and never heard back.
I suspect they're swamped with calls and emails right now.
I ended up ordering from brownells.
paid 12.50 each (125) you can get free shipping with "DSR" until the end of the year on orders over 99., so 125 shipped for 10
It's more them DSG but I figure brownell's was bigger and will get priority on new stock from magpul. http://www.brownells.com/magazine...42583.aspx
also to the OP I am pretty sure DSG does not offer free shipping, on slickguns it was reportedly 9.95 for the poster. http://www. slickguns .com/product/dsg-arms-holiday-mag-pack-10-magpul-non-window-mags-100-113-shipped
EDIT: remove spaces " " from the url, slickdeals blocks other "deal" sites because they're a bunch of childish pricks

Reason: slick guns link apparently slick deals blocks slickguns because it's a deal site, how childish.
