I am tempted to order a pair of the greeley's.. Only thing stopping me is that alot of crocs tend to be ducktoed & that doesnt work for my big ass feet. I have a pair of the canvas upper crocks that are really comfortable, but they seen to be more pointed then the greeleys

Count me in with those who thought that they would never buy a pair of Crocs. I have always "gone cheap" with snow boots and of course associate them with annoying discomfort in exchange for a dry foot. My oldest son is of an age where sledding is a fun activity for us to enjoy together, and I am hopeful that these will be more comfortable than my current options. I had to go with the khaki color in my size, and I can't say that I am thrilled with the looks, but at least they are a conservative color and I doubt that most people would even recognize them as Crocs.

Placed order for 3 pairs of boots. Last time there was a crocs sale I ended up returning all of the shoes I bought, just could not get used to the look. But for boots, the bulkier look should look ok I hope. Also, when returning to the store, the clerks gave me a look and some attitude about returning. But return policy clearly states you can return to any retail store. This should allow you to avoid return ship fees.
Also, don't forget discovercard 5% off all online purchases still till the end of the year. |

Actually, they are VERY comfortable and very odor free.
While I dislike the look of many of the crocs, at my age, Im more concered with comfort over style. My first pair of Santa Cruz are fantastic. Fit perfect. So 7 months later when they were showing some wear (Because I loved them & wore them all the time), I ordered 2 more size 12. And they were WAY too small. So I had them send me a size 13 and its too big but Im keeping them. Sizing is the only thing keeping me from buying more. Cant count on a good fit even within the same style. A 13 in a lace up might fit me better but then a part of the reason I love crocs, for easy slip on, would be lost. I wish I had a crocs store near me for easy returns and so I could be sure of a fit before buying. COMFORT is why one wears crocs and if you dont "get it" maybe you will one day. Crocs are SO light that I never care if I take them off. Every other shoe, I want off as soon as I get home. And I have terrible foot odor. Never a problem with crocs santa cruz. I would be buying 2-3 more pair right now if I could get good sizing. One pair size 12 fits perfect. 2 pair size 12 were way too small and my current size 13 is too big. I can only imagine that switching styles makes the sizing issue even worse. |
