Thanks all for your help on the timing of purchasing applecare. I still haven't decided if I'm willing to splurge on the 4S for VM, but at least now I know I have the option to add applecare later.

This is only maybe going to be good if you bought your iPhone less than 30 days ago, or plan to buy one. Then it is still iffy. The only thing to imply this is AppleCare+ is the retail price, but it says no where else on the page. You have to take it to an Apple Store to add AppleCare+.
Apple used to sell AppleCare without the accidental damage protection for $79, but I don't see it on their website anymore, so if you want to add that, this may be good. Last edited by RPdeals26; 12-29-2012 at 10:46 AM.. |

I water damaged my Iphone 4S 3 days ago. This is purchased from ATnT and 12 months of contract is remaining.
Is this something that can help me? |

How do you activate this? Is it shipped?
My screen cracked and I would like to add the coverage without showing apple. Can I add coverage to my damaged phone without taking it to Apple with this purchase? Its been less than 30 days. |

They changed the product description too. It no longer mentions the $49 replacement x 2. It looks like the plain AppleCare now. SHADY!!!

I think it is just "Apple Care" plan. I don't think apple sell Apple Care + without reassuring whether you get your phone within a grace period. And I can't find anywhere online selling "Apple Care+" and on that website , it is saying Apple care even though the cartoon shows "Apple Care+" because it copies it from Apple website and Apple is no longer selling Apple care (I think ) on its site. Only third party venders are selling Apple care. So watch out!!!
