I absolutely grant that more light can be an invaluable commodity, especially when flash is a non-option. But I dispute the bokeh issue. I know it has 2 more blades, (8 v. 6 if I recall correctly but I really don't know if I recall correctly) but I've looked at examples and I wasn't BLOWN away by the differences in bokeh. I'm not calling this a bad lens. The build quality alone may be a reason to buy it because if you are hard on your gear, you might wind up going through 4 f/1.4's because of their AF issues... but outside of that... I really have a hard time understanding why people pay a premium if they aren't constantly shooting wide open... and even if they are... are their shots usable? It seems as though the shots would be soft and simply unusable.
