Deal Details

Yes, I know there are a million Best Buy clearance threads today, and they are for TVs, but I think this one is actually a good deal for a 42" LED TV. Reviews are 4.2/5 stars (12 reviews) on Best Buy's website. I just jumped on it online for store pickup. Obviously, YMMV as with all B&M/clearance deals, but worth a shot.

is the TV worth it? seems like a good price for a 42", but TV isnt a priority for me right now so I may hold out to get a 120hz option and pay a little more for it.

What's a better deal this 42 inch 1080P led 120hz (the one Bb gave me by mistake) or a 46 inch 1080P LCD TV 60hz for 50$ less?

Is there any website where professionals share their calibration settings for tvs?

I have used the settings from a few pages before in this thread, but I'm still thinking the picture could be better.

You can buy or download a calibration disc and try to calibrate it yourself. World of Wonder by Disney is one of them. You will find forums with calibration settings for popular models, like sony, samsung, and lg. Most of those that are serious about calibration do not buy Insignias, even though Insignias are a good value, so you won't find settings for it.
