iv done all rebates that tdmvp has posted for tiger direct and havent had a single issue with any of them so far ! thats about 20 of them.

or maybe my postman just liked the tip and cookies i got him for Christmas..

I dont know what you are talking about. I have filed for at least 100 rebates over the last few years, and I have received every one. Granted, a few took some effort and persistence, but if you have half a brain there is no reason to be afraid of rebates.

Not worth it. They send you your rebate within a week of approving it, which they nearly always do anyway.

you pay 10% of something of the rebate value and in return they fill it out a little bit faster for you HOWEVER judging from all the rebates I have done in the past (hundreds) it is not a good deal, rebates are still fulfilled very fast without the option (~1 month)

I would rather know about a deal upfront than wait until the last minute when everything is sold out before it's posted. Given it's just a $20 speaker, but it's free after rebate for a little bit of effort. I'm not a fan of TigerDirect, but free is always good. I've never submitted any rebate that I didn't get, and like others, I've submitted many over the years ranging from a few bucks to a couple hundred. It's Slick Deals, not spoonfed deals xD.

Doubtful it's going to be a Money Maker now. The price will most likely update to $19.99 before rebate on 12/31/12.... especially now that the OP alerted the all of SD to it 3 days in advance of it going live. I'm sure there's nobody who works for Tiger Direct that monitors these deal sites, right?

It's not like they've ever changed a price on an item after seeing an overwhelming response at a lower price. Oh wait... they definitely have (as several SD veterans can attest to).

Not really. It's not beneficial to the SD community to post a Money Maker deal 3 days in advance. Maybe a few hours.... but definitely not days. In all likelihood someone from marketing is going to see this thread on Monday and make sure that the price is $19.99 in advance of the deal going live.

If the OP thought about that... rather than rushing to be the first person to post it... we could have all made $10.02 on this deal. Now, we'll at best get the item Free.

More than likely, it'll be $19.99 + S&H.
