Yeah, I'm not that angry about it (esp. given the cool factor of the FAR item)... but I was going to keep my lips sealed on this one until about 10 or 11 PM EST the night before the deal went live (New Years Eve). I figured nobody at TigerDirect would be in the office to make any changes and we'd be in for a nice $7 to $10 MM to bring in the New Year. Over time, it's become pretty clear to me that they have someone who monitors Slickdeals to see what deals get a good response, which MM errors need to be corrected, what prices they can get by with raising, etc.

I, too, hope it doesn't become a trend. If it does, the mods are going to have to do something about it because it really doesn't benefit the community.

On an off-related note:
Since we are allowed two of these on the rebate form... if we hook these up to something portable (like a tablet), and use a Headphone Splitter.... I think you could have two of these going at once.

That might be kinda cool if you are watching a movie or something since most tablet speakers suck. The only problem is you'd have a little wire mess on your hands.
