0% on purchases for 12 months on Discover Card

Hi, just wanted to pass on a deal that I got on my Discover Card. I have had my Discover Card for several years and last week I called them to let them know I was about to make some large purchases and I was on the fence about whether to use my Discover or another card. The other card had a better APR, so I asked if they could lower the APR on my account to entice me to use the Discover for the purchase. They offered me a promo for 0% APR for 12 months on all purchases. So I took it of course. So hopefully other card holders can call and ask for the same promo.
