I've been having the same problem with this beast. It usually tries to spike an upload of 3mbps occasionally and it just absolutely ruins everything. I'm on 18mbps/1.2mbps (fastest I can get where I live without having to deal with AT&T or Comcast.) QoS seems to have little to no effect on it. I resorted to setting up a DD-WRT router as its client (while also limiting the upload to 1/kbs with a firewall iptable) and it seems to keep its upload at about 200-300kbps (most of the time), but it will still try to spike an upload of 3mbps occasionally.
Anyone have any idea what ports this thing uses? |
