I loved this game, the matchmaking on PS3 was terrible though - I was #1 on the leaderboard for the first 3 or 4 months the game was out (with a record of something like 150-13, and #2 was about 80-60) until it just got randomly erased.

Man, it's rare I get to tell people that.

Very fun game though, I wish it had been more popular.

Damn...not available in any BBs near me, closest one is an hour away. I've already played it but someone stole it and I want to play it again but oh well.

I loved the game, mostly because of the music of course. I didn't mind the RTS parts...they grew on me. But I don't like RTS in general so I had no frame of reference of how bad it is compared to better RTS games. But it has good voice acting (Ozzy actually forms coherent sentences...that alone is worth $3), decent story and the best game soundtrack out there (for metalheads). It introduced me to a few great bands that I had never heard of before. Definitely worth playing, especially for 3 bucks.

Unfortunately the demo is practically a bait-and-switch. Once the real core gameplay begins, it's very different (i.e. RTS elements that really didn't interest me). So I agree, not for everyone but for those that enjoy RTS it's probably more enjoyable.

I'm playing this currently and it's actually pretty fun. I'm not a fan of RTS either but it's enjoyable.
