Hmmm... Maybe I should pay off my bill early so I can take advantage of this. 2% back is 50% better than 1% with AMEX.

Has anyone been shorted on cashback? I know I spent way past $1500 on the 4th quarter 5% promotion but only got back like $40ish in that category.

yeah, but they told me to wait the full 8 weeks before making a big deal out of it. However, if my past experiences hold true, they will just claim I used some other discount which invalidated the cash back offer. Even if I didn't. Or they'll tell me the store added a discount or code/deal and I need to take it up with them. One time I was shot down for using a free shipping offer, but everything on the site was free shipping. So basically nobody could ever get cash back for that store. Anyway, I must be a glutton for punishment since I keep coming back.

I got $60 back for spending $1470ish, so almost 5%... a couple things were in-store, though, and I screwed up and filled up my tank once with it instead of my AMEX.

I did get shorted on my sears.com and bestbuy.com ShopDiscover CB. I know I used a coupon on the Sears purchase, which might have canceled out the SDCB, but I didn't use anything on the bestbuy.com purchase... Going to call them and complain.

Call and have the rep break down what qualified for the 5%. My Steam purchases didn't count towards it which they had to manually correct.

The 2% showed up for me in the Discover app when I went under cashback. Thanks op!
