You're not understanding my issue. Two Select a Size sheets are typically longer than a regular sheet of paper towels. If I buy Select a Size I almost always use two sheets so I end up using more square feet of paper towel every use. Select a Size would have to be significantly less expensive per square foot for me to buy them.

Cost per square foot is a stupid measure for paper towels in my opinion anyhow. The least expensive store brand or dollar store paper towels probably have the lowest cost per square foot, but they are so thin as to be worthless. I would rather spend a little more on a decent paper towel. I have often purchased Costco or Sam's Club store brand, but I purchased Bounty the last time as they were a really good price.

Costco has Kirkland Signature 2-Ply Paper Towel Rolls, 12/80 ct, Item # 118265, $18.06. The Viva are 60 count and cost more.

Wow, I cannot believe how inflamed people are getting over paper towel brand - I want in on it! I would go though about 2 rolls a week of Bounty before I found Viva. I only use about a roll every 10 days. I won't buy anything else - these are extremely absorbent and you can use the same towel over and over again as you clean. I'm a neat-freak and like my apartment looking good. The rolls are also more compact. People who are comparing these to Kirkland or use the "size of the roll" to compare - you must realize that Viva is a paper towel in a different class than the rest and you don't need nearly as many towels to do the exact same job.
