TigerDirect.com has TCL LE55FHDF3300Z 55" Class LED HDTV - 1080p, 1920 x 1080, 16:9, 240Hz, 100000:1 Dynamic, 12 ms, HDMI, USB, Energy Star - for $699.99. There are 2 MIRs for this item (although only one shows up on the TD website), but I did ensure that both are valid. Shipping is FREE for InnerCircle Members and additional for others. Reviews are very good for this one, both in TD and Amazon. If you decide to pull the trigger, consider InnerCircle membership for $49.99 so that you can participate in other TD FAR and AR deals in the future (without paying for additional shipping for an year).

Good thing is that you just need a copy of the UPC for both the rebates. The other documents needed for both the rebate forms are the signed rebate form and a copy of the invoice.

For the record, I think someone made a typo at the rebate center.

It probably should have been Valid 01/20/13 to 01/26/13. There's no way a rebate in the 8000 series (TD-8XXX) should be valid retroactively starting in the beginning of 2012.

But their mistake is our gain. Don't forget 6% CB on the full pre-purchase amount thru Mr. R (+ 1% CB from most credit cards).

7% of $699.99 = $48.99 additional CB savings.

Hmm, yeah, that's puzzling since the latest rebate offers (Aluratek etc.) all only have "TigerDirect.com Website" as the eligible reseller.

But I don't remember this rebate showing up on 4MyRebate until only recently. It definitely hasn't been there for 9+ months because I would have shared it on some of the other threads on this same TCL 55 Inch model.

Glad you were able to cook up this deal concoction though. Pretty good price for a 55 Inch LED TV (even better price if you have Inner Circle).

I can confirm that the rebate only appeared recently... I recall being puzzled by the dates when it first showed up in the past couple weeks.

The TV is great and I jumped on it last time for $599 after rebate but I'm going through hell now to return it. I got a damaged TV with dead pixels in the dead center of the screen (about a 1.5 inch radius of dead pixels clustered around). I was unaware of this until I already assembled the TV, put in on the stand, and turned it on. The picture looked great where there weren't dead pixels, but it was a let down to receive a bad one in a batch full of good reviews I've read online.

I trust TCL and they make a good product. It's not the nicest, but for the price and size, it's better than all the other "no name chinese" television makers. I'll admit it's not the thinnest for an LED though...

My fault, I didn't fully read the auction. I believe if a TV has problems like that they shouldn't be listing it as "used" it should be listed as "For parts or Not working". It makes you wonder why so many of these TVs are being sold with so many issues though.
