My TCL product experience: I bought a 40" LED TCL TV on black friday for $150 AR. It's a piece of junk.

I wouldn't rate it even 1/10th the quality as my Sharp or Sony televisions. I will even say the Best Buy brand TVs are of much higher quality then TCL. The first TCL TV i received was defective, had to wait a month for a replacement. The second has 2 stuck pixels. Even though it's LED it is still much thicker then most TN panel TVs. The TV cannot be recognized by a computer connected via HDMI unless it is powered on (which is very unusual). This presents issues with multi-monitor configurations. The audio quality is bottom of the line. It's loud, but sounds about the same quality as a cheap netbook. The remote control button locations make no sense and result in changing inputs or color configuration by accident. Anything below 75% backlight illumination causes me eyestrain and a headache. The automatic backlight adjustment doesn't work correctly and sometimes results in a dim screen in a well lit room or full brightness in pitch black room.

After 2 weeks use I have demoted this TV to be used in my home gym, so it won't see any use
