This is the same price UPlay had it for just before xmas. Not a bad discount for a top rated game which is less than a month old, but yes, keys can be had for less from overseas sites and the Never Settle coupons on eBay.

However, FC3 is on the January Editors Choice list on Amazon, and seeing as everyone has at least one $5 coupon, it makes sense to wait until January 1st (before 10am) to see if they continue matching Steam's price once the coupons are usable. This would drop the Deluxe version down to $40, which is only beaten (a little [direct2play.com]) by the overseas sites (most of which are oos).

You mean like Ubisoft? Lol. All kinds of SSDs and video cards come with free Far Cry 3 download codes direct from Ubisoft. They're legit and all over ebay for cheaper so your statement is total bs.

Go read some reviews on direct2play. People have had issues with it and getting them locked out of steam. Some of their games require setting up a VPN to register the key in Russia first to get it to work. Nice site.

That has happened, yes, but any keys being sold for FC3 are going to be Uplay keys, not Steam keys. I haven't heard anything about Uplay locking accounts. At least not yet.

Very tempting for the steam version. By the time my backlog shrinks a little it will probably drop though. TU for the price OP.

The keys off ebay aren't shady in this case- they are from the AMD Radeon game promotions that come with video cards.
