The War Z

Does anyone play this PC game? Play for 3 hours today and it is unreal, so much fun. I find it more engaging that DayZ as the controls and general game are a bit simpler.

You can still buy it from their website. I had a friend give me a trial key, good for 24 hours. If I buy the game (which I will) I can send you a trial key. The game is nuts. You around Mon or Tues?

I think if you buy the game from website, the key also activates on steam.

I'm up for playing in a group. I've playing on/off randomly mostly solo and it's really tough now since that added more zombies in towns. I think they need to start bringing in more features and make better animations for the zombies though. The way it is right now is just okay and with Dayz retail coming I might switch over if it's good.

after all the negative press, they gotta step up their dev and what not.
not to mention i personally think its reprehensible to have a cash store in a non finished game.
seems strictly a cash grab imo

Yeah I did experience some of that. Still fun though.

You're right it is very fun, I find it to be always very intense trying to survive with all of the bandits and zombies. The shootouts are very good too because I enjoy the shooting mechanics of the game.

It is crazy intense. I went into a big city with 6 other people (all friends) and we all got over-run by a huge hoard of zombies. We were all geared up too. We had melee weapons, then it got out of hand and we had to start shooting which made it worse. We each had an automatic rifle but we still couldn't hold them back.

There is someone I play a lot of L4D2 with, so he invited me to his clan. I don't think I can just add you because I don't know how the clan stuff works. We use Team Speak. They have their own server for TS, but I don't know if it is a gaming faux pas to give you the server address.

I'm playing now, add me on Steam (Jabbit) and we can meet up. It is tricky to meet up, but there is safety in numbers usually.
