I understand the confusion of the Steam listing, but I understand that they (Valve) were pretty quick to issue refunds right? I don't have a problem supporting them, I think it is a great game.

Guys, if you used the "edit hosts file" workaround to solve the issues over the last few days; you MUST go back and remove the edits you made. If you do not remove those entries you will not be able to connect. I cannot guide you through this process, you must follow the same instructions you used and remove the entries you made. You can also google "edit hosts file" if you forgot.

Secondary workaround: You can also try flushing your DNS. Windows key + R > type cmd > hit enter > type ipconfig /flushdns > hit enter

The arrogance of the head Dev who stated that the steam users read the product description wrong rubs me the wrong way. That's just pure arrogance. Did you read his gamespy interview and the "apology" he initially issues? they didn't bother to put in the recent "fixes" until more and more sites were reporting them for being frauds. Also wtf respawn timer? 4 hr respawn unless you with to pay to respawn? Gtfo. People defend the game cause they crave a zombie mmo. I'll bet you if EA did these types of cash grab, people would be screaming from the heavens.

It is a 60 minute respawn, but you are allowed to have 5 characters. I have never seen a "pay to respawn" timer. And no, I haven't read any of those articles.

More fun articles to read. Btw the argument that the game is more fun with friends is weak. Anything you do is more fun with friends whether it's dicking around or shooting the shit.

The 4 hour respawn is just not true; it is 60 mins. And I can understand why - when you "respawn", you jump right back to where you died. If you could do that instantly, then it would just be a constant loop of jumping back in to kill the person who killed you and repeat.

I agree that the guy was a jerk and there were a lot of features that were listed that shouldn't have been there. They certainly should have either A) waited and released the game with the features or B) assured an accurate and concise Steam description.

Ok well while it is fun with friends, it is fun to play it solo too, which I have done for more than 1/2 my ~10 hours in game.

I don't care if it's a cash grab or what, I enjoy the "uniqueness" of the game (even if it copies Day Z). Plus it's fun to play with Jabbit. It's better than dropping $60 on COD set in a different era or $15 on a map pack full of maps you already paid for in a previous COD (if you really want to talk about a cash grab).

Talking to the wrong person about cod cash grab as I'm as against cod's madden roster update release as others.

Not to mention the fact that the dev had a "moderator" in the Steam forum that was basically deleting any post/thread that criticized the game, as all of this info was coming out. People were trying to warn purchasers about this fraud.

Right, cause the only alternative to WarZ is COD right? Not like there aren't hundreds of other games that are not only better, but also cheaper than both COD and WarZ? Lame argument is lame.

And a new COD with same old maps may be a cash grab, but EA/Ubi/Etc are upfront about their greediness. Sergey is a lying, deceiving, greedy fark who hasn't produced a working game in his life, and relies on stolen ideas and shitty programing. It baffles me that people have such a boner for zombies that they would give money to such a douche, when there are oh so many better alternatives.
