People have different opinions about peelies. Some think that you should only take them if you are buying that product. Others will go and pull every peelie off of every product and never even use half of them. I think that it is fine to pull a few peelies off of a product that you know that you are going to buy later. I will pull some peelies to use on an upcoming sale, because if you wait for the sale, there is a good chance that the peelies won't still be there.

I'm like you. In an Ideal World, I would just leave them there to wait for me when it was the sale time. But I grab 1 or 2 simply because I fear someone will come along, take them all, and sell them on ebay. In fact, the fear is based on experience. At a grocery store, there were great peelies on some pancake syrup. I was going to grab a couple because of an upcoming sale, but there were so many, I was sure there would be no problem. You guessed it. When it came time for the sale, not a single peelie was attached.

<sigh> there doesn't seem to be a right answer here. if you feel that it is wrong, don't do it. others (and i'm in that others group) will pull some peelies knowing they won't be there in the future. and believe me. 40 items will be on the shelf, all with peelies. when the sale is done, 30 will be there, none with peelies. so people are coming in and taking most/all of the peelies and not coming back. they are either hoarding them or selling them or who knows what. that's why i'll take a few; so i can get the deal the manufacturer intended us to have. i don't feel 'sinful' in doing it, but i'm not going to answer for how you should feel. that's up to you.

Thanks for taking the time to post even though it's already been noted in another post. I don't always have time to read the entire thread myself and like to share things I find elsewhere on SD.
