Bought one of these a few weeks ago when Newegg had it for a $100. First was DOA, but second is running great and super quiet.

So tempted to return the hx750 i bought a week ago because of the sleep issue with my board and replace it with this.

Sounds like a no brainer. Sleep issues are a pain in the ass. I had an issue with my board and not waking from mouse - actually mouse/usb would fail to wake thus needing to unplug replug to get it working even after waking via kb. Anyway, good PSU, I say go for it, a week is within most return policies.

Hahaha...can't help but your comments made me laugh! Anyway, I am in the same boat, too. I have the PSU in the cart and the coupon applied, rebate form/instruction saved, printed, and filled out. I just recently bought the Antec 750W for $85 to replaced my OCZ 600W. So the OCZ is now gathering dust. What should I do? This PSU is too good to pass up. The question is: do I need it or do I want it????????

The hx750 came with iron egg return policy so i have till the end of jan to return that. I also heard there are sleep issues with the x750 on my board too

Anyone know if this power supply would require a 'pure sine wave' UPS?

My Topower PSU crapped out 2 days ago and this is a perfect replacement. I have 2 Seasonic 650W, extremely silent and top notch build quality. FYI, the fan would only turn on when CPU is under load.

Tempting but I don't need one and I have a cheaper spare PSU in the closet. My 5 year-old 1.3kw Thermaltake that I overpaid for still keeps ticking.

One of the best powersupplys you can buy, I'd be all over it if I didn't score the 700w cooler master silent pro :p
