Originally before they caught on to mainstream they catered primarily to the skiers. Then I guess everyone figured out they were expensive and it became "cool" to own them. Not sure if quality has gone down over time or not but they used to be very good jackets/coats.

I really like the look of the jacket, considering getting one. Anybody else can confirm the 40-55 temperature range? It already hits 30s now, so if that's true then I don't see the point in getting one.

Depends what you get. I wouldnt say they are flavor of the month anyway you look at them, they been around for a long time now. I have North Face jackets and i would say no matter what its not a company you pay alot just for the name they make good products. I dont have this jacket so i cant comment on this one.

I ordered on Jan 1 and didn't get any email about my order's status (received only one order received email). I tried to log into my account to check the status and couldn't login. I also tried to reset password two times and had no luck. Tried to call and got into voice mail. What's wrong with O2? Did anyone have the same problem? Thanks.

I had to change my password, but I was able to get in. My order from 12/31 says processing, but my credit card was charged $81.99 on 1/1.

jay99 and busbeepbeep, I had the same problem. Had to change the password to get into their website (make sure your not using the same password on their website as your your e-mail account). My order is showing pending. I ordered the northface jacket on 12/28, got one e-mail on 12/28 that they received my order and now nothing else. Have left a message online to their customer service, a voice mail message and tried staying onhold for 30 minutes. Will probably check my credit card today to see if they have charged me and block the charge.

I didn't get any "item shipped email" (just one email after I placed my order). I called and couldn't reach a person. I emailed and didn't get any reply. However, my order arrived yesterday and had no problems.
