Ordered one today and just got a shipping confirmation

What is the difference between this $49 model and the $149 model on Lowes here:

The $49 item has a hard case which I prefer.

I bought a Dremel multimax 20 last week for $99 and now I am thinking to return it and get this one.

Got one... should work great at scraping ice off the windshield.

That other one with the soft case doesn't have the variable speeds. When lowes temporarily fixed the price on this one yesterday, it was showing up for $179. I really think it has to be some kind of price mistake, but I received mine already. Something odd is definitely going on with this item on lowe's website.

Yes Lowes in South Florida also had a bunch of the blades on sale. One carbide blade I got was $1.58 others $3.99.

The are on clearance because the newer blades from Rockwell are compatible with Bosch and Dremel without the need for an adapter.

It is weird that this item is not available for in store pick up.

Just ordered one. If you add anything over a few bucks you can still use the 10% coupon and get free shipping. I added some Bosch self-feeding spade bits to get the 10% and free shipping.

Strange on the app it on front page but here on website it is not.

My brother in law and I were able to use a 10 off 50 + 10% + FS. (double promos from duplicate tab trick from BF threads)
What we did was add a $15 filler (I used the 28-piece multipurpose knife and blades set) + the rockwell which brought the total to $52.94. Since the promos discount each item.
The rockwell came out to $38.07, and the knife set 11.40. This is with parcel shipping,
Then return the filler (knife set) when it comes in the mail.
Lowes automatically gives you a prepaid RMA label in the package you get so you dont have to pay return shipping.

Also, I was having an issue during checkout, when I tried to complete my order.
I would get the Lowes "Oopps..." error message, but I still got the order confirmation e-mail.
So make sure to check your e-mail, if this happens to you.
