Watch out for that hour overlap or so! It said "hello" at review checkout, "applied" coupon and ate my coupon, but I was lucky enough to call it in. I'll be skipping that since I don't have any spare coupons to play around with. Good luck if you try for that hour overlap.

nerdi - i'm jealous! i think i've been seeing those before in the store but never even bothered to check the sizes, maybe because of the color. i'm probably bound to the idea of black, gray or brown suits.

i think i am too. i don't dress very businessy for work tho, so the color will be fine in my workplace. i would think it's less formal tho.
in fact i have to say i didn't think to order that jacket until porda mentioned it here. (thanks porda) on the clearance listing [express.com] the first review mentions that the sleeves are too tight for her. i always look for this in a review, bc that means they'll fit me!
i'll let you know if i see it pop up again. it's doubtful tho. i haven't seen any jackets at all in my stores - only lots and lots of pants. i'm still looking for herringbone in 2.
the fit and flare dress - i added an off-center belt. i am unsure about it. i can't decide if i look like a little girl or a grandma in it.
the voluminous skirt - not bad with untucked shirt controlling it some.
the herringbone set - i used the same shirt, please excuse that :lo l: that is me on the way to an imaginary job interview.
sorry the denim ruched jacket didn't work out. i actually never tried it. glad the other jackets worked for you.
that peplum top is just stupid, imo. :l ol: it didn't work for me either. i was in between the sizes and without stretch, you can't really do much. you'll be fine as long as you get the tops with stretch. the other tops i've tried in store were not as stupid as that printed one (no wonder it was in clearance).
I'm glad all the peplum tops aren't like that one. That one's cut crazy. Thanks for the tip on getting stretchy tops. There are a few I want. Hopefully, they all have stretch. I'll have to look to see.
As you guys probably know, DBF has been suckered into being a GM at my friend's wedding, which he is still unhappy about. The "prices" came out for tuxedo rentals yesterday and he's been a sour puss ever since blaming me, etc...
Rental tuxedo is $150, not including taxes. He is saying that's the most he's ever had to pay for a rental for weddings. I think this would be the 4th or 5th he's standing up in for a guy he doesn't even really know. The first time he's doing it in CA, rest were in Midwest.
My understanding is that no budget was discussed and that number was just tossed out to him. I was telling him to tell the Groom that it's too expensive and they need to bring the price down because it's out of his budget (kind of like for the BMs and the stupid long time spent looking for a dumb dress).
Is that something he can do? Tell the Groom it's out of his budget? So they can find something more reasonable? My friend who is getting married is cheap, so I'm thinking that she doesn't care how much the guys pay because it's not out of her own pocket. The Groom isn't AS cheap as her, so maybe he doesn't care about cost? I'm understanding that from speaking to the Groom, he doesn't care about the wedding details and all the decisions are up to the Bride :dontk now:
I think DBF wouldn't care as much if it were his close friend, but because the Groom isn't, he's really flipping out. And it doesn't help that he actually bought a suit for a wedding for cheaper than the rental tux for this wedding. Le Sigh. I want to try to help alleviate that in some way or something...is there anything to be done?
