Sass was a stray living alone in the woods, then spent a month at the pound til Mom secretly adopted her for me She's great with other dogs and people but has a tremendous energy level and is ALWAYS hungry!

How sad. Shelter dog stories always make me weepy. It's just not fair. I'm happy she found a good home with you. I know how much you spoil your dogs.

I think Gracie has become more mean since she has adjusted. We need to work on that.

I know who can just leave a puppy in the woods when I first brought her home I'd take her outside and she'd be eating leaves like some sort of Survivalist- I'm like WHHHOOOAAA Sass there's a nice bowl of some Blue buffalo and some chewies by your nice warm bed, lay off the acorns

and that's always nice to hear.

Maybe Gracie is just getting settled and feeling safe and now she's testing you guys to see what she can get away with? I think I'm seeing a little of that with Sassy. She gets in her bossy moods.

Ugh, it's awful. I can never stay mad at her because she just gives me these huge puppy eyes. She's such a little brat.

And Gracie definitely tries to see what she can get away with. She really has the terrier attitude that I've come to learn about. I need to get her into some training classes, but I'm afraid she won't be successful because she's 4 and because her breed is extremely stubborn as it is. :\

my sister worked demos for them a long time ago and would get a q for a big bag of food every month, and $10/hr to hang around the pet store and chat up the dog food. As a college kid, she LOVED it

It's always worth a shot! I know the petsmart here had beginner classes for dogs >1. I'm such a baby with the cold I'd wait til spring because I cant imagine going out in this weather for any longer than I absolutely must. Spending 30-60 min outdoors practicing would be

I used to work in the same complex as the guy who started and owns Blue Buffalo. He apparently also started Sobe and sold it to Pepsi for some ungodly money. On the days he didn't drive the Bentley, he splurged and took the Ferrari. Sigh.

Yes!!! I remember meeting my sister's boss and he told me he used to work for Sobe, then went to BB-- must have followed the owner over. And he was from New England. He was hot but kinda whiny. Bentley or Ferrari, oh what a tough choice in the morning
