Cool....yesterday my chance at the $10,000 was 27 / 1,444,000 now it's 54 / 2,888,000.

I'd like to pose this question to some of the knowledgeable veterans on the board -

Is it worth saving a supply of "used" caps for future text games? Main reason I ask is as many of you
know you can often use a cap you entered into MCR previously in a text game -- it won't give you
additional MCR points but will put you into the contest.

A few sub-questions:

- If you used a cap in a text game once is it then completely done?

- Are caps where some other promotion (e.g., right now Coke Zero with Squares and Coke "red"
caps with American Idol) runs completely used?

- Are Powerade and Minute Maid caps that are used ever worth saving for this purpose?
One reason I ask is I find them harder to clean up!

Done with Square Bowl. Got 259 squares entries across 2 accounts. Got 2 entries on each square and ten "super squares" with 7+ entries. Let the game begin!

I got the board filled with a few extras on the corners. Like I said before, if I get a box of crackers I'll be happy, but I'll accept some cash. LOL

Jut won 40 MCR points from Subway....e-mail confirmation was within a minute or two.

So are we thinking that we will get notified during the game if we won? That would be alot of fun. If they do the drawing later and notify us later that would still be nice if we won but not as much fun.

On the squares bowl page, the is a "winners" tab. It says

Quote : The winners are picked at the end of each quarter and posted here as soon as results are available. Think you won? We email confirmation to all the winners* and a sweet prize appears in the redemption history of your My Coke Rewards account.

So looks like actually during the game. Unless there is some sort of glitch, which we all know has never happened before on MCR...

Not as I read it. "as soon as results are available" to me means maybe tomorrow. You know, they have to be verified, counted, audited, counted again, etc, etc, etc.

ill try to answer as best i can. I save my caps now due to the texting games. I believe that once a cap is used on a texting game it is done forever. However im not 100% on that. As for powerade and minute maid, i save them because they have 2x points on them every so often.

I keep my used codes on an excel spreadsheet with a different tab for each color of cap. I note which game it has been used in. Sometimes they work on more than one game. After I enter the code the first time I just copy right before I hit enter and then paste that code onto my spreadsheet.

I don't think you can enter more than 10 squares per day, no matter whether you use the AMOE or caps or flaps. So you would only get 3 points and no square if you've done all your AMOEs today. I'm not 100% sure because I haven't tried it myself, but I think I'm correct on this.
