(We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use MCR membership info to signup, or offer MCR points as prizes.)

Current MCR Bonus Points, (which do not count in the 120-point weekly limit)
  • 10 Bonus Points are prizes in the MCR Merry Minutes of Winning [mycokerewards.com] instant win game.
  • 100 Bonus Points for signing up for Southwest Airlline's Rapid Rewards program [eprize.com].
  • Double Points on caps by purchasing beverages at Kangaroo Express and entering the keyword "kangaroo" and then the MCR cap code. Limit 2 Double cap Points per member, per day. Valid July 1 - Dec. 31, 2013.

- How may I contact them?

- When does the promotion end? The program will end on December 31, 2014, (but often has been renewed).

- Codes with 12 characters are still be accepted; (still working as of Dec. 30, 2013.)

- Weekly Point Limits, Invalids & Start and End of Weeks:

Change: The weekly point limit is changing from 120 points per week, (ppw) to 100 ppw, effective Jan. 13, 2014. 120 ppw will continue until the end of the "Coke week" at 11:59:59 Jan. 12, 2014.

Up to 120 points per week are permitted to be entered per account per week. A week starts at 12:00 a.m. E.T., each Monday, and ends at 11:59 p.m. E.T. each following Sunday.

Any Bonus Points earned are not included in the 120 point weekly limit.

Change: There is a weekly limit of 10,000 ppw.

From the 2014 rules:
"The current phase of the Program begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on January 1, 2014 and is scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2014 (the "Redemption Period"), but Sponsor reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend, modify, or cancel the Program, at its discretion, at any time.

"Codes may be entered beginning 12:00 a.m. ET on January 1, 2014 until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2014 (the "Collection Period")."

"However, if an Enrollee enters 20 invalid codes on a given day Enrollee will be unable to enter any more codes that day."

- Inactivity

"If a Member's Account has remained inactive for a period of 90 days or more, the Member will forfeit any points remaining in the Account, without compensation. Failure to either credit points to an Account or redeem points from an Account constitutes inactivity for purposes of this condition."

This means keep adding codes to your balance. Or redeem an award which costs 0 points. If you account has been inactive and points have been forfeited, send an e-mail to Coke and ask for them to please restore your points. Members have often had their points returned.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's.

- Point Values:
Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).

All bottle cap codes, across all brands, are worth 3 points regardless of size of bottle.
  • 12 oz., 12.5 oz., 14 oz., 16 oz., .5 Liter, 20 oz., 24 oz., 32 oz., 1 Liter, 1.25 Liter, 1.5 Liter, 2 Liter, 2.5 Liter, 3 Liter, 50 oz caps = 3 points
  • Taylor Swift Diet Coke skinny 6-pack cans (flap) = 5 points
  • 8 pack cans = 8 points
  • 12 pack - Fridge Pack (flap) = 10 points
  • 15 pack ("3 cans free") = 10 points
  • 18 pack cans, (box or plastic wrap) = 15 points
  • 20 pack cans (inside box) = 18 points
  • 24 pack - Dasani bottles (plastic wrap) = 20 points
  • 24 pack cans (big flap on side of box) = 20 points
  • 30 pack cans (big box) = 25 points
  • 32 pack cans (plastic wrap) = 25 points
- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

Note: 'A,' however, is accepted in 12-character codes only. 12-character codes are still being accepted.

* There are also five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

12 Days of Holiday Rewards - 2013:

The 2013 12 Days are over, but below is the recap.

Specific values for all reward were not released before launch. Rewards were available starting at 12 noon Eastern time, 11 a.m. Central, etc.

Members must enter a code every day to unlock the prize. If you fill your account to the 120-point limit, you will not be able to redeem any more rewards the rest of the week! Rewards are limited.

Members have had good luck redeeming during busy times by using the mobile or tablet sites, and by using different browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.

Hey, just decided to post this to help people who are getting Blockbuster Rentals from MyCokeRewards.

If you have coupons come up as already redeemed, when you know for a fact that they haven't been used, its not your fault.

Mycokerewards coupons have been having some issues, and some coupons are just invalid coupons.

Instead of saying "wow, i got owned" you should GET A REFUND!

Follow these steps...

1) Go to mycokerewards.com
2) Click FAQ
3) Click "ask hank"
4) Type "email" and hit "talk"
5) Click the "email us" link that shows up
6) Type a message saying that you had x number of coupons come up already redeemed
7) Wait for a reply and a credit of the amount of points the invalid coupons cost!

TIP: Enter Your Caps Faster

[DISCLAIMER: This might work for me simply because of my browser (Firefox) and/or certain combinations of add-ons, so it might not work for everyone.]

When you enter a code on the MCR site, I'm pretty convinced that the codes are pre-programmed with the number of points you will receive for it. So after you type you code (or copy/paste) and press Enter, don't bother clicking the bottle to select the flavor it came from--and (at least for me) you don't have to click that black X. Just type or paste the next code over the last one, press Enter, and keep repeating.
You won't see your points total increase until you do select a flavor but if you enter 10 codes, for example, and click a flavor only for the 10th code, you'll see them increase 30 points all at once.

NOTES:
~ Be sure you press Enter after each code, otherwise you obviously won't get credited for it.
~ Keep an eye out for the error box to show up. It's easier to miss than you might think when you're using this method.
~ As I'm sure some would point out, there's always the option of using the MCR widget (which doesn't ask you about flavors at all), but this is the next best thing if you're not excited about having to install Yahoo! Widgets just to use it.

Identifying Coke products

You may want to know what type of drink a particular MCR flap came from. If, for example, MCR has another selective point-doubling day (in fall 2007, there was a week when Minute Maid and Nestea codes doubled), it would be handy to know if some of the flaps you have saved up are the right type. With that in mind, I made a few notes on the fridge-pack circle-and-bottle logos which are currently in use:

Flaps:
Red circle, white bottle: All Coke products (Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine Free Coke, Coke Zero & etc.) and Barqs
Dark green circle, white bottle: Sprite
Green circle, white bottle: Vault, Fanta
Lime green circle, white bottle: Vault Zero
Medium blue circle, white bottle: Nestea
Dark blue circle, white bottle: Fresca
White circle, black bottle: Minute Maid

Cap colors:

Red (Regular/"Enter Code"): Coke brands

MCR rarely gives us much info on their rewards, often even leaving out the model number. If you've gotten a reward, post the model number here so others thinking about getting it can do their research. You may want to include the date you ordered it, in case Coke changes what they ship out.

Use the AMOE cause its pointless to use the caps, unless you also want the 3points to fill your weekly points. Save the caps for next cz sweeps/double points.

So is it a better strategy to cover every single square once or to cover say, the first 25 squares 4x each...? I'd be lowering the amount of prizes that I might get an entry for but for the ones I do get, I'd have higher chances. Hmmm...

Thanks. I think I did hit the back button and try to submit again. Got the white screen of death before, and I think I just went for the reload button on the browser bar. Can't complain too much - I'm on my second round of picking squares. Finished off the entire board for 4 family accounts on Friday. And no, I am not gainfully employed (anymore) so I can spend all my time getting freebies from as many brands as possible...

It's a giant roulette table. Thats the way I'm playing it. I dont care about the coupon that much. All entries today went on 1 square.

On the one hand, I am excited. This could mean big things for Coke, and for Taylor. (And she genuinely likes Diet Coke!) In addition, I could get some more Taylor stuff through this. That said, I'm not that fond of her doing merchandising deals, and it does sort of dissuade me from a rumor I'd like to believe about her.

(Minor quibble with Coke's press release- she has a role in writing all her songs on her normal albums. Some of them she does with others, though many of my favorites (like the ones on "Speak Now") are all done by her.)

True- though I'm not a tween and I'm still a Swiftie. (I did post a while back about getting a small but good haul of caps from when I went to her concert- though some were from the next day as well.) Perhaps parents of tween Swifties can earn favors with their kids by getting Swift stuff for them?
