Limit number of new threads one user may post in Hot Deals?
I notice one particular member has posted about 100 new threads in Hot Deals in the past 24 hours. And 98% of them are not worth posting.Could the SD admins please consider limiting the number of threads a user can create in a given time? This spamming the forum with lukewarm deals makes Hot Deals nearly unreadable. Last edited by BigBananaMess; 01-01-2013 at 07:22 AM.. What's lukewarm to some might be appreciated by others so we do not want to limit the number of deal threads a person could post. What if someone met their daily allowable thread limit and then found another really hot deal and couldn't share it with us? You could put a person on ignore if you don't wish to see their threads anymore. 'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'

I followed your suggestions. Much better now, thanks.

I think simply putting the thousands of crappy "deal-a-day" posts in a sub section would clean up a lot of the nonsense we have to sift through.
And/or put selma in a sub section. I believe I've found the solution to obesity in America. Hemispherectomy....no one uses it anyway.
