Amazon finally credited my account for my trade-in, so I just ordered mine. Total was $126.20 after using credit. Basically I paid $166.20 out of pocket, since I paid $40 cash for $50 Amazon Gift card to use. Not too bad to use credit on.
Guaranteed delivery for Wednesday with 2-day shipping. i wish I could've got it sooner but I don't find it worth it to pay $3.99 to get it Tuesday. Hopefully they'll have it arrive on Tuesday for me and the warehouse is close. It wouldn't be the first time I've ordered over the weekend and received the order ahead of time. If I saw the credit right away I probably could've got the order in time for it to come on Monday with One-day shipping. Now I need to wait until Wednesday. Got my Kindle yesterday!
I been having a lot of fun with it. I like using it for books and magazines (haven't used magazines yet but I'm hoping to find a cheap subscription to SI). I like playing the free Family Feud game, and I will download Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy tonight. Question about this Family Feud game though - Am I always playing against a real person? The people I've played against have had mostly real photos and the names seem real too. I thought I was going to be playing against computers but even better if it's real competition.. |

Should still be active for a week.
I got mine. 16gb one and it's amazing. My wife actually stole it and is watching Amazon and Netflix hours every evening. I jailbroke it to get google play and got some great games on there that arent on the Amazon store, too. Screen is amazing. Battery is great. It feels really sluggish (as most android devices do) changing between things, but runs games like Grand Theft Auto and NOVA like a champ in gorgeous HD. For $250 (well, 260 with charger), I am extremely happy with mine. |
