You should be prompted when you first launch the app. If not, try going to the log in page, and register a new account. It should tell you about the promotion there.

that's worse than faxzero. i'll go with faxzero anyday. 5 faxes per day. no subscription needed.

Just tried it, makes decent enough scans when converted to.pdf too, looks like the more light on the document when scanning the better.

That australia.edu account i set up years ago still comes in handy every now and then.

I use this app for submitting receipt and hotel invoice support for my work expenses. Snap pictures of receipts right after I buy something, then toss the receipt. Depending on the client im on I create a new folder in the app to store each receipt or hotel invoice for a paticular client. When my trip is over, with one click a PDF is made of all the scans for that client and it's put in an e-mail right to which I send to our firms internal accountants for processing. Seriously has saved me a ton of time - i used to dread gathering receipts and submitting them - I always ended up losing a couple too! Also after i take a picture of the receipt it will autocrop it to the correct size and it will auto edit the coloring to make it contrast more (you also have the option to deny this but I find it makes the support more visable). I only have the trial version and I love it. Wish this deal was for apple products too as I use the iphone app!

Works ok, however not an amazing app.

This app is a bit disappointing. Apparently, OCR is only available in the IOS version, not Android. Also, it doesn't automatically straighten images, which with a text image designed for a PDF is really essential! Still a nice deal, though. I had installed this app before and knew it had an update waiting but I avoided it simply because I never use the app. This post finally made me update, and there was the offer for the free version. Thanks, I hope they update the app in the future with these two essential features!

I got the Galaxy S3. My first "smart" phone. I'm in love with Android now. Amazing capability. And Google updates the OS quite a bit. And unlike iOS closed environment. over on XDA they have a ton of developers customizing Addroid on a daily basis.
