50+ posts and still no one has a link to the free checks that seem to be so popular. My CU stopped free checks years ago.
And to those who still don't get it, when the high school kid down the street is selling cookie dough to raise money for the drill team, plastic is not an option. Some of us like slick deals so we can have a little extra to share with others. </rant> OP TU

Just FYI: Costco allows you to buy checks from them at a pretty cheap price. I got upwards of 1000 checks for about $14 and change.

I occasionally run into a stubborn company / state agency that requires a check to be written. Or in situations where you put money down on an offer on a house or such. Always nice to have a box of checks. I still have the same box of checks from when I opened my bank account 11 years ago... the only problem is the address is no longer valid. This is a good deal, thanks OP. |

If I add a box to the cart and fill in the pertinent details, the price jumps up to the regular price. It seems that it will only let me use the code if I order completely blank checks.
I need to find a company that will print my checks on thin sheets of rubber. |

ally.com fidelity.com All three of these banks offer completely free checking accounts with unlimited(?) free checks, full ATM reimbursements nationwide (internationally in Schwab's case), free debit card, free bill pay, no minimum balance. I particularly recommend Ally because its checking account pays 0.40% interest (and their savings is 0.95%, also free). With options like these, I have no idea why anyone would use Chase, BoA, Fargo, etc. other than ignorance/laziness. I used my Chase checking/savings accounts exclusively for over 10 years (due to laziness in my case) and I just opened accounts with Ally and Schwab a month ago. It took almost no time to open the accounts and now I'm making actual money on interest (instead of 0.15% on my SAVINGS account and 0.01% on my checking) and get free checks and can use any ATM for free. It amazes me that Chase etc. are able to get away with charging for checks and not reimbursing for ATMs when there are plenty of free options that do. Just spent $6 on checks. This should hold me for 3 years or so like the last box.
SOOOO glad I don't have to find a new bank, setup an account, close my old account, wait for my funds to be transferred over, change my direct deposit with HR, change my 10 or so auto-deductions, update my target red card account, re-verify my account with Vanguard, my credit card companies, paypal, dwolla, and every other website I use ACH for, and setup all my Bill Pay recipients again, just so I could get free checks .
